Our Story

Like many of you with your own pets, my life revolves around my girls, Opal (Opie) and Dixie. They are the first ones I see each morning when I rise to take them to the park, and the last ones I see each night as I crawl under the covers, wondering if there’s a chance they won’t hog the bed. They bring nothing but the best to my life and it’s only fitting that I would want nothing but the best for theirs.

An avid cook, I love preparing homemade meals for Opal and Dixie and feel that nourishing them with human-grade foods keeps them strong and healthy. Despite her diet, one day Opal developed flaky, itchy dermatitis due to a nasty flea bite. In search of an all-natural nutritional supplement with essential nutrients to boost her resistance, I decided to develop my own. With the help of a veterinarian and consultant, Flax Fur Pets was born! A healing Herbal Shampoo seemed the perfect complement, with a balanced multivitamin to round out the group. Today, Opal’s itchy skin is a thing of the past.

I stand by my promise of "nothing but the best" for Opal and Dixie, and believe that my products fulfill that promise. I am thrilled to share them with you in the hopes that your pets will enjoy the same great health and cheerful spirits as my girls!
